If you have responsibility over a web site - or even an intranet, you should read this book. It is a quick and entertaining read by a guy (Steve Krug) who normally charges zillions of dollars to tell you what he wrote in this book.
This is not a technical book or one based on hot trends in web pages. It is a simple, practical guide to keeping your eye on the ball when creating web sites. As he repeatedly says in the book: "It's not rocket surgery."
